Does anyone have a good tenderloin recipe? I have 2 whole pieces that I want to try to cook whole. Thanks

LIttle bit of Olive Oil, Sea Salt, and Fresh Ground Pepper.

Coat with oil and liberally apply salt and pepper. Grill to Medium or Medium Rare.

Slice and Serve.

I also have Coffee Steak Rub that I use that is great, but don't know the exact name of it right off.

Another way to do it is to make rub of salt, pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, thyme and olive oil and let it sit overnight. Preheat oven to 450 and then brown all sides real good on a stovetop and throw in a chunk of butter in the pan and spoon it over the browned meat. Take meat out of pan and wrap in foil and throw in the 450 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.

I might try this one day, but to be honest I do not like backstrap cooked any way other than on the grill or smoker.

My favorite is nearly the same as above.

Little kosher salt, little fresh ground pepper, wrap the circumference with a strip of bacon like filet mignon! Grill until medium rare or medium.

Good eatin.

Soak in a zip lock bag with italian dressing all night. Pull out the next day and throw on a very hot grill. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook on a high heat (both sides) until crustie on the outside and medium rare on the inside. Slice up on a bed of wild grain rice. Darn it! Got go home right now and fix it! :-)

I've completely eliminated Italian dressing from any use in my kitchen anymore. It's not Italian, and I can make a better dressing from scratch with less money, more flavor, and better nutrition.
