another question for you guys... been shooting every day since i got my bow and decided to shoot my muzzys to see how they compare to my field points. Some hit right. Some hit low and right. I'm working on getting some blitz fletching jigs and plan to wrap and refletch my arrows...yall think if my fletchings are in line with my blades, and i put an off set fletch on there, it might help out with my sporadic muzzys?

You can try bigger vanes with a helical twist and see if that helps. Sometimes all it takes is trying a different broadhead.

Are your arrows numbered/marked individually? Have you spin-tested the arrows as well? You may have sporadic flight with certain arrow/head combos. Mark them individually and then shoot. If you have a "flyer" try a different broadhead and see if it hits the same place and then put a field-point on and see if that arrow still hits different. What you're trying to do is to eliminate "bad eggs". Form issues, i.e. torqueing, will also cause what your describing.

As far as fletching goes, having the blades match up with fletchings isn't going to hurt but honestly with todays technology and improvements it isn't a requirement like it was years ago. Also, having more helical/spin in the arrow can improve arrow flight and consistency, but it will also increase noise and have a slight reduction in speed. Most of the time, a slight off-set helical is sufficient.

I haven't seen any improved flight or accuracy when lining blades with vanes. More than likely u have a slight tuning issue. Its hard to diagnose over the forum but basically what could be happening is your rest is set right of the bows actual center shot. In other words your arrow is pointed right of center shot and with a broadhead on its going to be more pronounced than field tips on the shot because the blades will naturally act as rudders and catch more resistance. Assuming your right handed, move your rest to the left 1/32" at a time until your broadheads hit with your field tips. Granted this is also assuming you have correct spine arrow, no fetching contact, your bow is in spec, no grip torque, among other things. If moving the rest doesn't help then its obviously something further. Contact me anytime and I'll do my best to help. Good luck.

Helical fletching will help improve flight and consistency but as TNDeerGuy said, spin test your arrows. Get the wobble out. Here is a decent video about tuning your broadheads. Aligning your vanes really doesnt help anything. IMO its just personal preference.
