I have never seen this before.
Watching an episode of "Deer and Deer Hunting" which is one of the few programs I actually pay attention to their advice, I saw something unusual to me.
A buck moving thru a wooded area goes right to a planted plot no bigger than 4' X 4'.
I get the idea but am surprised by 2 things.
How and what could have grown so thick and green in the deep woods?
What could you plant in such a small amount that would attract deer to it?
Anybody have any experience planting these deep woods mini plots?

As far as how thick and green a mini plot gets in the woods would depend on sunlight, soil acidity, and how quickly the plot can establish before the deer get to it. I planted a 10'x10' plot of Throw N Grow about 4 years ago in a mature stand of pines. I put 50 lbs of 13-13-13 on it. I used a garden rake to get to the soil and then put down the seed and fertilizer. Then I worked it all into the ground. I didn't really expect it to come up as good as it did but it really surprised me at how well it came in. I wish I still had pictures of it. Came up as good as any other plot I've planted, seen a lot of deer coming to that mini plot.

yep, love wheat because of that!
The problem in America is not that ungodly people have said yes to ungodly things, but rather that Godly people have refused to say "no" to ungodly things.
