The bass were just simply not very interested in biting that much.
Man caught probably 5 bass and my boss caught one that weighed 4 pounds along with 3 or 4 more.

I never connected on a bass but I had my trusty ultra-light with me (as always) and I dug around and found a jar of crappie bites so I rigged it up and caught a few bream.

Caught a few GOOD ones and then I got this sucker.
I wish I had weighed it, but I can be sure it weighed at least a pound and a half.
I was holding him up with just the line fixing to grab him and he flopped and snapped my 6 pound test like it was nothing.

I dropped the poor thing like 5 times trying to get a picture, no good way to hold them.

Curious how you rigged the crappie bites and how deep you caught him, thanks.

Thanks scn. \:D

dirttrax,
I was using a number 6 gold colored bream hook and I just put a couple of them on there and tossed it out.
I was fishing about 2 feet deep, near the bank.
