It's either a conspiracy or they are trying to make sure that they only list fields that have a decent number of birds using them.

What's the reasoning behind holding off until the last minute?

TWRA doesn't have to lease any dove fields for us. They could still sell licenses for the same price and they would sell the same amount.
I am appreciative of what TWRA is doing, and I will patently wait till they release the field locations.

That's all fine and dandy but when regions 1, 2, and 3 have multiple dove fields to choose from it kinda makes it look like region 4 is slacking...

yep waiting for region 4. If no leased fields; the neighborhood bird feeders may get hammered.

Can't lease them if they aren't ready and have birds.

How many times have you heard people complain about going on a TWRA leased field and there not been birds there?

Which field is the better option for the loudon co hunts. I hunted the harrison farm in monroe last year it was ok but a private field up the road was hammering them. I'm looking to get an old dove hunter back into it and got buddy bringing his son for his second year of dove hunting. Any help would be great.

I just want to know when TWRA is going to stock rainbow trout in Reelfoot Lake? Just don't seem fair that all those trout are released in East TN regularly, and we don't get any trout in Reelfoot. We don't have any bear hunting, no elk hunting, no grouse hunting, and no trout. We don't even have any pretty mountains. This just ain't fair, and it's all TWRA's fault.

But we do have giant flying carp! \:D
