I called the co op and asked about winter wheat prices and the lady said they wouldnt have any until end of september because of the weather. Does this sound right?

Ive priced it from 3 different places recently in Cookeville and Jamestown so you probably should just check other places. Ended up buying some for 12.50 a bag then finding it for 11.95 and buying some more.

Williamson County Farmer's Co-Op in Franklin just received their Winter Wheat and is waiting to receive their grain Rye.

Anderson's Grain Group in Paris has wheat for $0.17 / lb.

This wheat may (will) have a few dead bugs, but I planted it last week. No rain, but it has already started growing just from soil moisture.
