I've been using something VERY SIMILAR to that from Lone Wolf for years. Like most ideas, I've not found it as good as it sounded initially, but it does make the stand a little easier to carry.

You all have pretty much covered the features, so let me share a few "cons" that I believe will apply to this one same as the Lone Wolf.

1) It does add a little weight. Even 2 lbs is 2 more pounds.

2) What are you going to do with it while you're hunting? This is an ADDITIONAL item you're now carrying, and it has a fairly large "footprint". I don't like to leave it on the ground, don't like to leave it attached to the stand, and don't like it in the tree with me. Choose one.

3) You'll probably remove any other straps you had on a stand you're carrying. Then, you'll NEED this contraption to transport the stand. If you leave the stand in the woods, will you feel comfortable leaving this with it? If you're like me, sometimes you'll forget to bring it back, or you'll decide to move a stand when you don't have it with you.

I go back and forth between preferring to use or not to use.

Agreed, Poser. As soon as I get back to our cabin from hunting, and before going inside (boots), I hang everything up outside....clothes, pack, and everything. As soon as I get there on Fridays, before I go inside, I hang everything up outside. A lot of near naked walking around from me until I grab some sweat pants \:D . With the backpack, the scent factor could be extinguished, but all that plastic is something I still don't like

After I purchased this I'm not fatigued or afraid to walk further. It takes all the weight off your shoulders and places them on your hips like a hiking pack.

There's not one piece of plastic exposed. This harness doesn't make any noise. I repeat. This harness has no moving parts to make any noise. I take mine off bout every 7-10 days and wash it and hang dry it. It's just as quick to put back on as is it to take off. If the material tears it's your fault because it wasn't positioned right. Somebody asked what to do with it when you climb up. I got an idea if u don't want to keep it on. Take it back to the truck then come back. Theirs 6 of us that has Em and all keep theirs on their platform while they hunt. Theirs no need to take it off.

I use one with my summit goliath and man does it make a difference. Getting the weight off the shoulders and onto the hips far outweighs any negatives this thing poses. You do have to take it off since on the summit it is attached to the top, but like was mentioned the clasps are covered with neoprene and quiet.

I have this product and others like it. I just got a new solution from Muddy that looks promising, but I haven't tried it yet. They all have their pluses and minuses. I'm thinking about making a short video that shows these solutions in use. I think it could help other public land hunters.

Also, the Gameplan Gear TTS shown in the pictures can be had for $45. The $60 price at Bass Pro is a rip.
