To all of you mobile climbers I would really think about investing in these. Some stands I walk over a mile to get to. With my summits factory straps it gets hard. After I purchased this I'm not fatigued or afraid to walk further. It takes all the weight off your shoulders and places them on your hips like a hiking pack.

It's not the walk in that will kill you.....it's the drag out....

Either way it makes WALKING easier. Fits on to any stand.

the problem I see with it is that after several uses, the moisture from my sweat will accumulate on that back pad.

I looked at this at bass pro yesterday and think I will buy one. I am the same way with walking a mile or more in and the standard summit straps don't cut it, even on the light open shot I have.

That's no problem at all. Each point to the stand has a buckle. There's 8 buckles and all you have to do is snap them off and throw it in the washer. You can get it off in less than 10 seconds.

It's made by Game plan and it's called Treestand transport system. You can get Em at bass pro and they run about $60

I will have one of those.

The ONLY complaint I have ever had with my Summit is the carry straps.
Seems like if they are smart enough to build a stand that good they could figure out a better way to carry.

Thanks for sharing.
