I drug the bow out for a little practice and had to do some serious adjusting now I've been shooting bows for about 25 years so I know my muscle memory is not the issue I have had this current bow about three years and have had to do no adjusting the past two could it just be the strings getting warn out or could it be something worse

I would assume its a form issue . How long has it been since you shot ? What kind of misses were they ? Etc....

I would guess form issue.

I've played golf my entire life and used to carry a 1 handicap. If I didn't hit a golf ball for an extended period of time I would not start hitting the ball right off the bat like I'd been hitting everyday. It would take a few sessions to start getting back in the groove. How far off the mark are you? What are your expectations?

Strings and cables can creep , causing major tuning issues .

They were about 6in. Misses up and left. And I do understand there was a little form issue but that's usually just a couple inches. I really had to move my sights up and over I finally got them grouping like they should.

I would give it a week or so of shooting pretty regular . You might have to move it back once you get back to where you were .

I would check the spec of the bow & make sure the cam(s) rotation is right. I would say the string & cable has probably stretched. I don't see you shooting that far off just because its been a while.

Make sure your rest is set for proper center shot and your string loop or nock point is slightly above square . Sounds like you may have a setup/ tuning issue .
