Where are you guys finding VNS Wheat much cheaper than $15 per bushel? Feed wheat is much cheaper or if your a contract grain producer.

Nashville Co-op has the same price.

Are you all talking about feed wheat or VNS seed wheat?

I'm talking about VNS, but haven't purchased any this year.
That's just more than I paid a year ago. Maybe I got a discount for buying so much. I get all my VNS wheat from either the Henry County Co-Op or the Montgomery County Co-Op, usually have to go to both to get everything needed for fall planting. I have run down to the Co-Op in Waverly when the others were out of stock.

Wonder why my Co-op is selling it for $9.00/50lb bag?

Someone in our lease who is a member of the NWTF got our wheat last year for 5 bucks for 50#......germination rate not great by % on the bag but worth the 5 bucks!

As stated previously, that sounded higher than what I paid last year.

Today, at the Henry County Farmer's Co-Op on the main drag of Paris . . . . . . . the price per 50 lb bags of VNS Wheat seed was $11.50 per bag.

Your Dickson County Co-Op is charging a 30% higher price than the Co-Op in Paris. Makes no sense to me. If I have to get any later from the Montgomery County Co-Op, I'll bet you it's priced the same as Henry County's. I'm kinda half-way between Clarksville & Paris, so get supplies from both these Co-Ops.

I'd speculate the Humpreys County Co-Op is real close in price to Henry's (as is usually the case). I have to go there sometimes when the others are out of stock.
