Thanks for the input Gentlemen. I think I'll pick up a box of Fusions and Power Maxs and see which one it likes better.

Most of the bullets I load are Sierra. They are accurate and perform well on game. They might come apart at close range...like many other name brand bullets... but if you do your part, it will end with a dead animal.

180gr Remington Core Lokt for me as well. They have been hard to find recently. I found some at Wally World today, but its been several months since I have seen them at various WalMarts in a 100 mile radius.

Alot of people may think I'm bull sh_ _ing but the most impressive kills I've every had is with a .243 shooting 100gr Sierra Gamekings at 200yrds.
I actually shot two that afternoon, a doe first- she died within 30yrds. Then a 8pt. buck - he ran in a circle and fell dead exactly where he was standing.

I just haven't shot any in a 30-06, but the Sierra Gameking is an excellent bullet.

I use 150/165/168/180 and load them all at roughly the same velocity and they hit almost exactly the same out to 100 which is the average shot around here. I use nosler almost exclusively but sierra is really good too.
