And you probably don't need much monitoring, while we all can take advantage of a little mentoring. \:\)

IMO, feeders are a bad idea (here in TN), regardless of whether you plan to hunt or not hunt over or near them, and regardless of legality. Your initial post implied you were wanting to hunt over or near a feeder, and I took it as a seeking of info regarding how you could legally find a way. Sorry if I misunderstood your intentions.

IMO,feeders cause more problems than they are worth,#1 good way to spread disease #2 I have no idea where you are hunting,but if hogs are near,they will find it.Sounds good?Nope,really messes up deer hunting,and the hogs are mostly nocturnal,hardly ever see em.When I hunted a place that had hogs,we set up some feeders and cameras after the season one year,I bet 99% of the hog pics were at night.
