Last season . I dropped my Remington 7600 . It hit on butt plate . It cracked , chipped stock where it connects to receive . It is a laminate wood stock with a gloss finish . I am not sure if it can or is worth fixing . Any one here do stuff like that or know of someone that does . I am located on tn/al line .

Can you post pics? Do you have all the pieces that chipped off?

May be easier/cheaper to order a laminate butt stock from Boyds. They probably have the color to match.

If you don't have all the pieces I'd look for another one. Especially if this is the one with the swivel screw stripped out too.

You can get a laminate thumbhole butt stock from Boyd's Website for $65. It's the sterling model.

A little Scratch X will give it a gloss finish to match the fore end too.
