I've seen a few. Not a bad way to go. Definitely better than synthetic in my book.

I've got 4 of them. 3 Remington 700s and a Winchester Model 70. I like em. They are a "loose" fit though. I'd recommend bedding around the recoil lug if you can.

Na it won't be too pretty to hunt with. You'll like the thumbhole, or I do anyways.

I had one for a Remington 700 and it fit really well. I am going to order one for my A-bolt 270 WSM but it is going to require some minor inletting. I am wondering how that one will fit.. may have to bed it like mentioned in an ealier post

My buddy has one on a remington model 700. He complains about the weight of it.

I have 3, all thumbhole. The Abolt 22-250 required a hair of inletting to let the safety move. The Abolt 30-06 required Zip. The 243 was from another vendor, no comment. They are heavier. I shot two deer last year off-hand. I very much believe the stock design allows for a steadier sight picture.
Mine do not need bedding, other than the fact that bedding in any rifle is a recomended step to take.

I ordered all of mine with the upgraded recoil pad and sling studs.

Be careful with the inletting. Trust me.

Here's my 06 stock

I have used these before and the fit has been good and the accuracy of my rifle was good as well. My only problem with them is that they were always a little "slippery" to me. The finish is soooo smooth that it always felt like it was slipping around in my hands, especially when really cold.

I have the Evolution on a 10/22 build. No complaints with it, looks and feels awesome.
