Whitetail Times published by the Virginia Deer Hunters Association. Hands down the best out there. In depth consideration of all aspects of deer science, hunting and gear. Amazing that it's put out by such a small organization. I'm not a member of the organization b/c I'm not sure of their politics and there are many hot button issues in this state (Sunday and dogs being the worst). The mag is similar to what D&DH used to be.

I used to love D&DH for many years. After 15 years of subscribing I cancelled a couple years ago....it went down the toilet a couple years ago. Celeberies on the cover? They down market to the "industry" that I despise...full of gimicks and trash science. Some of the editors are just ignorant and publish speculation like it's fact. Anything to sell magazines. Deer shooting "preserves" advertisements are accepted and that says it all.

Quality Whitetails....I got sick of seeing the same telemetry article in every issue. Also, a lot of the same articles/photos as D&DH. One year was all I could take.
