It looks like it has gotten smaller since last year if that is the same deer.

yes maybe a little smaller although it seems to have more mass in some of the other photos. it is almost deffinately same deer. lives in exact same place. also although brow tines are different tine on left is slightly longer than that on right in both pics. also antler development was nearly identical to last year.

I scrolled back and forth for a while looking. He looks really similar but it's hard to tell. The dates say 7-26 & then the closest date for this year is 7-13. To me it looks like a different deer based on how their rack frame is. One wraps around and one goes out past the ears then straight. Frame shapes don't necessarily change that much in a year, but he could be one of those deer that puts on tons of growth within the last couple of weeks. I've seen deer grow what seems to be like feet but is probably just 5 inches each beam in the last weeks of growth. Other than that he does look the same to me, mass though compared to the eye maybe a little larger than last year but deer will "shrink up" a considerable amount (mass wise) when the rack hardens. As for age both those deer look 3.5 so in short terms I'm confused if that's the same deer.

He does look smaller, doesn't he? Still a nice deer, I'd say 3.5.

for what it's worth i think you all are wrong about it being two bucks. i wish more than anyone that it went from a nice 130 class last year to a huge 150 this year but it just didn't happen. aside from that i have been getting pics of it for the last 15 months. it has a very small range on my property. in fact i have only gotten pictures of it in a 50 acre range on our 400 acre property. we have 5 cams and it does not go to any of the other ones and they are baited. it will visit the one feed site almost daily and i have it on trails within a few hundred yards of that spot.

I'm going to vote for 2 diffrent bucks...if you look even at the head, the first buck has a larger "wider" head, more of a block style. If I was guessing, the first buck is the daddy of the second buck....simular but NOT THE SAME BUCK...no WAY!!!!

The racks are not even compairble. Look at the brow tines.... buck #1 has curled, and the tines start very low near the head and very even. The G2's are higher than G3's, On buck 2, no curl and the left tine is way above the right tine, the G2's are even with the g3's.

Nice BuckS
