Does anyone have a recommendation for a good hunting load to develop for a .270 Win pistol barrel on an Encore?
This is for my Brother-in-Law. He's been shooting the Rem. Reduced Recoil ammo and it's not working out for him accuracy-wise. He's been giving me his brass so I can neck-size them with my dies, but I've never loaded for a pistol and can imagine that I need a faster burning powder than what I use in my rifle (RL22).
Also what bullets should I consider?

I would use a standard cupncore bullet. Velocities wouldnt be very high, so I would avoid a harder bullet since it might not open up enough. I would go with a 130 gr Sierra Gameking or Nosler Ballistic Tip.
