Sad to say but unfortunately my last three bricks cost $70.00, $50.00 and $50.00. Bad when you thank that the $50.00 was a deal.

We may never see .22 prices where they were before. Why??? The companies that make these rounds know what's going on... Supply and demand.

Who to blame... Us... We thought the end of the world was coming and made these companies millions. Each Wal-Mart across the country for the last year had 10 to 20 guys standing at the sporting good desk before the workers could stock the rack. Now they know they can raise prices and make more money.

Good luck and prices now will be .08 to .10 a round.... on avg.

I picked up the last 2 boxes of Winchester Red Box High Vel from SW today and gave $9/box. They had plenty of shorts, which I would have bought if they were CBs.

Can you shoot the high velocity in all 22's without damage?

I said High Velocity generically, as these actually are called Super Speed; 37gr , 1330 fps, HP Copper Plated

Yup. I wish I hadn't shot up my 500-round box just before this craziness started. Took me 6 months to find a 100-round box, and then had to pay too much.

I don't want to hoard. I just want to buy a 500-round box for under $25.
