I have a Remington Model 700 .25-06 I believe its a BDL. I took it on a trade and was thinking of selling it, but I cant find any for sale to figure out what its worth. Anyone have any thoughts? It is in excellent shape, not a scratch on it. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hard to say without knowing the age etc.. Any pics you can post? Trap door open underneath to let the bullets drop out?

I am with Kimber age is everything. I personally would rather have an older one. Mine was made in 1988 and it shoots great. They are fine rifles I bet you won't have any trouble selling it.

Go to and see what similar rifles are selling for. Don't get distracted by what they are asking either - some guys think mighty highly of their stuff but never get bids. Look at actual sales or prices on auctions that are about to close so that the real bids can be seen.

I have a 700 ADL in 25-06 that I love. It's one of the old wood stock ADL's.

It does have the trap door, but I have no idea about the age or how to figure that out.

Does the stock have a brass pin cross bolt or a big black dot? Brass pin guns are older/ more desirable.
So many smallmouth, so little time.
