Got out to 100 yards today. EXTREMELY happy with the way this lil $190 Wolf does with the 300gr PT Gold!

CVA Wolf
Harvester Scorpion PT Gold 300 grain
Harvester E-Z load sabots
110gr Blackhorn209
CCI 209 Magnum primers

Shot with and without cool down just to see how much it affects the group. One thing for certain, that blued barrel heats up pretty hard quickly after a few shots! It was starting to get uncomfortable at one point. I still have some FINE tuning to do with it but that will only take a few more shots and then shes ready for 150 yards. I think its safe to say that the Wolf and Scorpion PT Gold is a winner as far as accuracy goes!

Cooling down with the breech plug out.

I got one for Christmas last year and it is a great gun. I use 245 Powerbelts with 100 grain pellets. What size projectiles are you using? Man I can't wait to put down my first deer with it.

I may just have to give those a shot. Do you know if using 100 grains of 777 pellets would change the grouping a lot?
