It's nothing like the awesome looking set ups you guys have, but it shoots good enough to kill!

I upgraded to Easton Axis FMJ N-Fused arrows. Still gotta get them cut down though.

I'm still shooting my little project from when I was working at a shop. It's a 2010 Strother Vanquish riser and limbs with a set of 2011 Hoyt Fuel cams. It got a new set of threads and a trip to the powder coater's last year. Still shoots better than I do and tunes 100x easier than it did with the stock cams.

Just bare shaft tuned it tonight. This was at 30 yards. Just need a slight sight adjustment now.

Radar -- I like keeping things simple. My target arrow rest is a simple blade style rest. I hunted with a TM Hunter prong style rest for a long time before giving these bristle style rests a try. I just feel more confident with them vs the drop aways and such. For kicks and giggles, I dug out a Limbdriver rest that I had in my spare parts drawer. I set it up on my bow and it tuned very easily. The thing is...I couldn't personally see an accuracy advantage to either one. The Biscuit was a smidge louder when the vanes hit the bristles. But on the flip side...the Limbdriver doesn't let the arrow down easy; without something on the shelf to catch the arrow, it is gonna go flopping around. Trade offs for each I guess. I just preferred the simple design of the Biscuit.

Well it aint a compound....but it shoots like one! ;\) This is my experiment bow this season. Ive been shooting traditional bows solely....but this year Ive done went and bought another wheel bow(Hoyt Charger) and put together this cross between traditional and modern.
Hoyt Dorado
50# @ 28"
Trophy Ridge sights
Whisker Biscuit rest
Sims stabilizer with Sims stick on Dampeners
Wrist sling
G5 peep and D-Loop ( shooting it with my release)
29" CE Maxima Blue Streak 250 arrows
Im getting 185 FPS shooting with 175gr Zwickeys. Shot my first robin hood today at 30 yards with it. I know she aint pure traditional.....but dang she's sweet!

I agree Crow ! A good shooter with good form such as yourself , can shoot a WB just as good as a drop away rest . They are so simple to tune and I have never had an issue with fletching getting torn .
I'm currently using a Apache drop away on my Hoyt Katera XL and I'm thinking about going back to a biscuit because I bumped it out of adjustment last weekend and I had to retune . Glad I wasn't hunting .

I was looking at WB in my Lancaster catalog. It looks like there is a high end one that actually has micro adjust. I might do the WB again one day but my Limb Driver is doing great.
