Just looking thru the flyer for the fall classic.
On the back it's got something about trade ins for bows, scopes, and rangefinders.
Looks more like they take your stuff for nothing and take hardly anything off their mechandise.

From what I understand, it is made to take in bows that are unshootable and not worth anything to give you a discount on a brand new bow. As far as I know, all of the bows are discarded and new bows are donated to Boy Scouts of America.

After looking through the flyer, I decided I'm not going. Wish there was a Cabelas around here.

A small-footprint (88,000 sq ft) Cabela's just opened in Louisville, KY, and another small-footprint Cabela's is being built in Bristol, TN.

Me too. I have been to the one in St Louis and it puts Bass Pro to shame.

I don't necessarily hold it against BPS but every year I watch the same products get incrementally more and more expensive.

Was looking at the flyer last night and told my wife "I can remember when this actually felt like a sale". Seems they are just advertising everything and no real sales. I only saw a couple items that I thought might be a deal.

I absolutely cannot believe the price of inline MZs. Just a few years ago a decent inline, like a T/C Omega, could be bought brand new for $200-250. A top of the line MZ like a T/C Triumph or Knight MZ cost around $400. Now look at the prices. Good grief...
