Yes, but was it the deer you shot at? \:D

Yes it was! Although I did miss my aimpoint by a few inches (hit her in the back of the head).

I had a guy tell me he killed two deer with one shot by shooting at a rock between the two so the bullet would split and kill them both.

A guy checks in a fawn..."I was shooting at a big buck. Shot under him and killed this one."

I've seen too many guys coming out of the woods saying they let a nice 6 point walk and see them at the checking station with a small Spike or young Doe. "I let it walk." Whatever dude \:\) I just laugh at them and go on.

I don't get the "or young doe" part, but I've seen the same thing many times.

We used to all go hang out at a little country store at night during hunting season. There was this one guy that always had a story, but never had a deer. The conversation would go like this every time:
Me: "Hey, did you see anything this evening?"
Him: "Yeah, I heard a big 9pt early, then heard a big ten come by about dark."
Me: "You heard???"
Him: "Yeah, I could tell by how it was walking."

He would tell you this every time we saw him.

You know, I misread the topic, I though it was tell the biggest hunting lie you've told. My mistake.
