Wanted to say thanks to those who gave me your opinions and experiences with the after market model 7 triggers. I installed the Timney trigger and Glass Bedded the stock. She will be finished after I tighten the scope and a trip to the range. Now come on deer season!!!!

Yes, I had Karl machine the bolt, flute the barrel, and cerakote the rifle.

That looks sharp! There seems to be a rather large gap between the scope rings. Anything unusual going on there?

Yes, they are not torqued down yet. Just set the scope in the rings for a photo shoot! Lol

He's about to do 3 for me. 3 fluted plus a knob on one. How much weight does the skeletonizing save?

DTC,

I agree his work is quality, very reasonable priced for what you get.

Duck,

I use to know what it is. It's not very much. Karl can tell you, seems like I seen how much weight it reduces on his website somewhere.

Had him ball mill the end of the factory knob (like the factory Ti's are) on the last couple. had him skeletonize one on a 700 mtn rifle awhile back turned out really nice. Think the fluting removes about an ounce give or take, its more for looks than the weight reduction.

HuntingDickson,

Yep, its the B&C Medalist stock. Great stock factory, glove fit after the glass bed.
