view right before bed every night we were there and need to add while listenin to the loons, my absolute most favorite bird. Nothing anywhere like listening to loons in Ontario.

Other than about 10-15 minutes after this picture was taken, almost no bugs this trip and we have not ever had any problems with bugs. There are black flies and mosquitoes for sure but if you camp on a small enough island any breeze at all helps keep them down. We have had a problem here and there but nothing major. I have never wore any insect in 30+ years of fishing there.
