I sure do wish I was going. Ive been trying to plan a hunt to colorado for about 5 yrs now and can not get any of my buddies to go. Im about to load up and just go on my own.

about what you need here. good raingear, boots, will be warm during day, 80s or more, maybe 50s at nite. Good luck

what boots would you all suggest? I was looking at the Asolo 520, but I am open for what you guys recommend?

I wear insulated Redwings, as well as carry a pair of rubber boots. Make sure what ever you take that they are fully broken in.

I bought some lowa gtx hunter extremes last week. They seem nice so far. I did a water test today in a creek and the water beaded off of them as I hoped.

Exactly what I did. Coupon code "shoebuy" will get you 10 % without signing up. Then I talked the company I work for into paying 50 % because "backpacking" is health related..
