Blob targets are great but if u can't get ahold of one another great target for field points only is a bag type stuffed with denim, old jeans or overalls. Cut off all buttons & zippers, it will last a long time.

Those should work for a while, but you will probably see some arrows go through. I suspect you will tear up some fletchings shooting into your bales.

The most cost effective product I have found is the Target Bag sold by Third Hand Archery out of KY. It is a VERY heavy duty, self-sealing poly bag with a velcro top. It has a variety of target circles printed on the bag. You stuff it with rags, used clothing/bedding, etc.

They really work well and last several years. They sell for $25 or two for $45.

I second them bags I have 4 of them and work great
judge if you want were all going to die i intend to deserve it

back probably 6-7 years ago I picked up a red head layer target from bass pro. for 27 dollars and its held up 20 times better then my block I still shoot it. and I shoot a lot. shoot broad heads and field point into it. may be something to look into. I would spend the 30-70 dollars for a good to decent target so you don't mess up your arrows. that's just me though.

Thanks for the offer knightrider. Hopefully I can find me one (will look into scn's suggestion) so I won't have to bother you with the hassle or spend the gas money ;\)

Get ya some feed bags and fill em with old clothes, (cut off zippers and buttons) You can hang em stack em or whatever. They are good for field tips only though, easy arrow removal to.

Lowes sells hay bails that are packed extremely tight.
