I'VE NOTICED THAT MOST OF THE POSTS DON'T HAVE THE LITTLE PAPERCLIP ATTACHMENT ICON WITH THEM, YET THEY HAVE PICTURES POSTED WITH THEM.....HOW IS THAT DONE? THANKS FOR ANY FEEDBACK!

Yes, but you need storage space somewhere on the web and know how to do an HTML image tag.
I store my images on my provider's server and then use the "[img]" and "[/img]" tags around the address to those images to display them in the text.
