I'm the opposite. I tend to sit from morning until 1, then call it a day. Sometimes, I move for the 10-1 timeframe, usually closer to water if need be and if it is especially hot. The amount of deer movement between 10 and noon on hot days is surprising.

Most of the time I slip into my set up around 2 p.m and hunt till dark. If I hunt all day or midday I stay close to the food.

Wherever I see the biggest concentration of fresh sign. Trails, food plots, funnels, water holes, etc. Usually the wind narrows it down for me.
