Anyone have one in there model 7? Do you like it and what pound is yours set at for deer hunting? Thats the only complaint I have about my model 7 is the trigger. I wish I knew what pound pull my Browining A Bolt is. I love the factory trigger in that thing!

2-3 lbs is what most will say is good for hunting

i prefer a jewell trigger over timney but they will be better over stock

rifle basix is a good (econo) trigger as well

my son's 7/08 is at 2 lbs

my 7saum is .14 oz

I have two Model 7 rifles and it was no problem getting the factory triggers on both down to a safe 2 1/2 lbs,,the bolt stop release is different and the triggers for the 700 wouldnt work in mine but they are both older rifles the 6mm was bought in `89 and the 308 in `99.

Thanks for the replies. I decided to go with the timney. Hopefully less creep than the factory trigger

Did the same on my 7mm08 and have been very pleased. Love that little gun.
