1. you cannot be arrested.
2. Business owners cannot search your car.
3. It removes the govt. from the equation.

It's now a difference in policy between citizens. I fully support carry laws. I also, as a land owner support rights that give landowners and businesses the discretion to set their rules on their property.

The gun owner is getting the shaft because the business owner does not own the road, gas stations, dark alleys and other places between the gun owner's home and place of business.

If I was one of these business owners with an irrational insurance contract, I's simply have a secure locker system where they could/would check their firearms before entering. But I'm not one of those business owners. I have my own business and I have plenty of firearms within reach right now....

...uh, no I don't. Never mind Mr. NSA. I'm gun free \:\)

I support the right to carry as well.... just didn't know what all it "changed"....

I mean, if you can legally carry a weapon, how can you be arrested?

If it's private property and the owners have reason to believe you have a firearm in your vehicle, can they still not search to verify or if they are told no to a search, they would have reason to think you do have a firearm and then terminate your employment if it's an employer?

I don't see where it government was involved anyway.... it all boiled down to being able to legally carry in a particular location....?

Just had my employer update my carry permission slip for the company. Now, if I only had something to carry...

It's best to just let him finish.
