Is anyone familiar with this muzzle loader? I had one as a kid, and it meant alot to me as my dad gave it to me for christmas one year and i let it get away during my wilder days, and now would like to replace it? it was a Thompson Center white mountain carbine .50 cal, had a half octagon barrel and a factory leather sling? anyone got one? or have the same memories?

I had one it was the worst shooting gun I have ever pulled the trigger on. It would hit a fly one shot and the next you couldnt hit the truck with it.

Holy cow I would love to have one of these - lightweight and short can't ask for a better side hammer in my book - the people I know that have one will not part with them for anything , I've tried and tried.

I dont remember how great my groups were, i do remember 90 gr. of powder. I`m wanting another for other reasons than it just being a good gun, although they were very neet!
