My new computer is showing that it's about to expire. They want 40.00 to renew. Not being computer savy is this necessary or is there another cheaper version I could download. It also has a AVG something on it Thanks

This one works fairly well too.

Other options are AVG and AVAST. Both of these have a free version as well.

AVG Free 2013 version. Have used it for years without issues.

AVG is free and excellent. I've been using the free version for years with zero problems.

I've used both AVG and Avast and I prefer Avast (both are free). I currently run Avast on my new Desktop at home and it has performed flawlessly over the past year. Best of luck in your decision. You can download and install either from link below.

I'm an IT Guy and I tell people to use AVG all day long.. Great free app.. Not fool proof.. But it works.. and it's the good ol FREE

only good thing about comcast is Norton comes free with Comcast but I have a mac dont need one ting I love about macs no virusis no spyware
