I have owned all 3. Bought in the same order you have listed. Bought'em all new.
I don't really think you could go wrong with any of them. My tracker was nice, but did'nt fit my needs. The Triton was THE toughest boat I have ever saw. Thats boat caught pure hell. I bought it for duck hunting and showed it no mercy! From flooded timber to oyster beds in coastal NC. It was a very well built boat! Then my focus switched to bowfishing and i needed a bigger boat, so I got a 2072 G3 and still use and abuse it. Its been a very good boat! I wanted to go back with a triton but the G3 has really deep sides and had more storage, so I went with it. I'm really hard on equipment and i don't buy stuff to baby it. I love my G3, but still though, I give the slight edge to the Triton aluminum, but thats just my opinion.
I've always just bought new because then, I knew exactly what I was getting and had warranties, etc.....But there's also some very good used boats out there for good deals! All comes down to personal preference,

If you're happy fishing in the boat you have now, fix it and keep on fishing. It may not be "exactly" what you want but you can always add the little things to get it pretty close. This is why I don't have a boat any more, bought one on a whim thinking it was what I was looking for but the more I fished out of it, the more I found its short comings, to the point I'd rather fish from the bank than take the boat.I will have another one soon only because I know the exact boat I want, it has everything I want and would use and is set up just like I would want it to be.I've fished out of it countless times and have caught tons of fish out of it and as soon as my friend that owns it will sell it to me and buy him a new one, it will be mine.

Option 4 Go to the ramp and find a boat you like. Watch him launch boat. Let air out of trailer tire. Wait....with air compressor. . Man comes back and o crap a flat tire. Save the day and air tire. New best friend and free boat. I'm thinking about selling mine now that I came up with this plan.

If it was me, spend what would be the equivalent of a couple of payments on a new rig getting the current one where it needs to be. Spend a couple more and install a side console and controls if you want to get it just the way you want it. Lots left for other toys then.

I have to say that I like the new option. I bought a 18.5 ft sea ark and love it but I didn't look at everything first. Now to put my boat the way I want I would be better off buying a new one again! I really like the lay out of the triton aluminums the best. My problem with the tracker that I used to have was the lack of storage and the live well was to small on every single one I looked at.

Fix the old one or buy a used one. deals are out there to be had if you can look around and wait on one. go with option 1 then watch and wait for the good deal on a used one you like for thousands less than new.

Today I put my boat in the water for the first time this year. 16' Stratos 50hp that I bought from Tophat in 2010 I think and he bought it from another guy on here I think. Its a great boat.
