Hello, I just thought I'd share some pictures of the stripers I've been catching in the last few weeks. All fish were caught on skipjacks 15-22in long. Talk about exciting. These are my biggest ones. This doesn't include all the "little" 20 to 30lbers. I LOVE THIS RIVER!!! First one weighed 32, the second one weighed 44 and the last one was 41. I'm actually fishing in ky, but I hear there killing them all the way down past salina tn. We run BIG baits. Sometimes it takes all day to get one bite, but when you do it's worth the wait. We fish skipjacks about 4 feet under a balloon. We've caught 18 over twenty pounds in the last month. All it takes its good lively bait and time. If you cover enough water you'll hit one. There's no science to it!

your still catching good live skips? See my problem is I don't have a boat, have a few friends with them but as for myself I have to be able to rely on doing ok from the bank. Very nice fish, hope I helped so everyone else can enjoy checking them out.

Yeah I appreciate it man! Thanks! We are still catching skipjacks but its getting harder and harder. Something I failed to mention, we cut almost all the tails off of the baits we run. They are much easier to control and they can't get away from the stripers when they come up on them. We have also been catching them on size 14 clown husky jerks too. You might want to try that as well. We've also caught three brown trout over 10lbs on them so far this year. Change the hooks on them tho if you plan on hooking any sizable fish. I've had a dozen hooks straightened out. Here's one of the trout. 10lbs

If you upload pics to facebook or photobucket or something just click on the pic copy the URL and when your posting just put

That's the call code for posting pics
