Usually drop in July in my area (South Giles/Lincoln counties of TN and Limestone County, AL). That said saw picture of one spotted fawn last week from Giles County, TN and saw a dead spotted fawn on I-65 in Limeston County, AL. Most of the does I am seeing are very full now.

Peak fawn drop around and north of Nashville is now. It will spread outward (west, south and east) over the next month and a half. Peak towards Memphis should be mid-July.

Take your peak breeding dates in fall and add 200 days. That should give you peak fawning dates.

Boll Weevil,

When you say "around here," where is that?

Still waiting at my house. Seeing plenty of pregnant does, and they seem to be starting to disperse a little bit.

4 got hit while cutting hay and 1 turkey yesterday.

I wonder how many get killed every year by tractors cutting hay or bushhogging?

I have some places that need to be bushhogged but I don't dare for another month. This next few days is when I expect fawns to start being born based on past years.

Driving back east from Knoxville yesterday about 20 miles along I40, I saw a dead fawn along the road. A really big one too. Then a little further there down the road (5 miles maybe) two fawns were playing right beside the road. Based on how steady and strong they appeared to be while jumping, I'd say they had to be at least a week old possibly two weeks.
