This Brown gave the new 4 wt. fly rod a tug. Beautiful morning to be on the river.

Very nice. I guess they shut off the generators finally. Excellent.

I've never been able to get them to hit much on the fly when they're generating, but my shoulder prohibits throwing streamers. I'm guessing that's how you succeeded during high water.

That's my recipe Gil. Nymphs when no generation, switch to streamers when the water comes up. There were days driving home when I could barely keep my hands on the steering wheel my neck and shoulders hurt so much. AND IT WASN'T FROM FIGHTING FISH!

They werent generating until later this morning, for today anyway. Lots of fly fisherman were out at daylight wading with the generators off. I walked down the river about that time and saw everyone catching fish. Beautiful fish, congrats!
