The archery limit is - Two deer - only one antlered per season for the entire area.
A lot of people get in trouble each year at LBL for failing to pay enough attention to their rules, some of which are quite different from other WMAs.
1) The annual "antlered" buck limit for LBL is one. Doesn't matter if you have both a KY & a TN license and hunt both the KY & TN sides. Doesn't matter if you have a quota hunt permit for a gun. Nothing changes the fact that the annual antlered buck limit is one for LBL
Should you kill a buck during the non-quota archery hunt in October, and be drawn for a quota gun hunt in November, your quota gun hunt becomes antlerless
only. This is a significant issue to be aware if you're doing any fall bowhunting and think you might be drawn for a quota gun hunt later.
And should you kill an antlered buck on a quota hunt, your subsequent non-quota archery hunting at LBL is limited to antlerless
only. (In times past
, the quota hunt buck did not count against the non-quota archery buck.)
2) Your lifetime and/or sportsman's license does not negate your needing to separately purchase a special LBL hunting permit.
