well I am in the market for a boat. and I found one that I like it is a center steer boat with a steering wheel kind of like a inshore fishing boat. if anyone has used any of these or has any pictures on them I would love any info on any boat want an all aluminum boat. will mostly be used just about any where but mainly rivers.

There nice but have limited seating, I traded mine for a pontoon cause the family got bigger, I also have a bass tracker. I would recommend a tracker cause there tough and reliable and you can usually find one perfect for your needs.

So I assume your talking about a center console? I have a center console G3 aluminum boat. Me personally, I'll never go back to a side console, but some say the opposite. I have plenty of room in mine but then again its a 2072, so its a big boat. I don't know what size your looking for, but unless you are wanting a 18' or bigger, you may be better off with a side console. I would still go with a CC but thats just me. If you fish by yourself a lot, a CC boat balances better, simply because your in the middle of the boat instead of sitting on one side.

well the deal fell through I am going to look at a bass tracker this weekend. it has a mercury 60 hp on it runs good. I am worried I haven't ever owned a boat and I am nervous because ive heard some horror stories about boats. but I am going to take a leap and get one. it has an older motor on it do I need to be that worried about that. it runs good though. just need info on a little older boats and motors would be good.

Used motors can be hit or miss. Any maintenance records? Compression on the cylinders? Did they run ethanol free gas? Lots of questions I know. But also in your original post, you say mainly rivers. How shallow are your rivers? Static draft and the ability to run shallow water may be a concern as well? Good luck in your looking for a boat.
