Just found out a buddy and me are drawn for Kansas archery tags this fall for the Mitchell/Osborne areas- 7 and 3. Anyone ever been out there? Any tips? I have a friend that lives out there that we are staying with and we will be hunting walk in private ground. Looking to be there the first full week of November and plan to leave on Friday at lunch and drive to about St. Louis, stay overnight then leave early and roll in about lunch, in time to recon and scout some. We'll probably stay thru the following Saturday.

I've heard to look at the ditches and draws around corn and milo, but would appreciate anyone's input that has been there!
