I drilled some milo on 5/9. I have not seen germination yet so I am assuming a crop failure. Maybe seed rot? I had some germination with my sunflowers but not great. I am assuming by this point if the seed hasn't sprouted it is not going to?

On a positive note, my eagle soybean plot germinated nicely.

Guess I am going to get the drill again and replant.

Hmm. I'd be interested to know if any of it ever pops up; that's right curious. Milo definitely has a hard coat but would certainly have thought it would germinate and sprout inside of 7 days if soil temps were right...we've certainly had enough moisure.

How deep did you plant? If to deep seed will rot before sprout can break crust. Might try digging down in a furrow to see if seed has sprouted below surface. I'd put my money on to deep. 1" has worked good for me I have heavy soil. If you have sandy lummy soil 1.5-2" will work.
