Destin was good to me again! Biggest fish of my life! 45.3lb amberjack. If yall are going on vacation there look up Harbourwalk charters. I've gone out with them the last 2 years and they have done an amazing job both times. Also, we caught 2 7ft bull sharks! U can't beat fishing with a .30-30

Well the boy that caught the bull wanted the jaw bone plus the main reason the captain said he didn't like them around his fishing holes lol idk he was kinda crazy

Congrats on the fish. My dad was in the Air Force and we spent 5 years in that area when I was a young kid. We fished out the Destin pass often. Back then Destin was a quiet little fishing village with a few bait shacks and a few dive seafood restaurants. It blows me away how much it has changed. My dad used to kick himself for not buying any land out there. If you saw it 35 years ago you would be blown away by what it has grown into. I assume the sand is still as white as ever?

No it was pretty cold but that was probably why the fishing was unreal! 80 degrees and sunny everyday but water was cold. Makes for unreal fishing and sun bathing
