Here's a video I done this weekend with our group shooting @ Bucks2Beards. In case any of you have been thinking of trying a 3D shoot out...but have been intimidated by how you think they might be (people watching, Pro shooters, etc) this ought to ease your thinking a little bit. LOL.

Sorry for the quality of video...I have it excellent quality on PC but to be able to upload it to YouTube and not take 4 hours, I had to lower the quality a bit to make it under 100 MB.

Nice video and an accurate depiction of how it is in real life—laidback and fun! Also, there are several examples (2:12 for instance) on why several of us use dark colored nocks and fletchings. \:\)

I get a kick out of my brother inlaw and how hard he pulls back his bow into the limb stops. He's the guy in the green shirt, shooting a Prime Centroid on 70 lbs and pulling it back like it's on 30.

I shot 12s on the first 4 targets of this shoot and on all 4 of them, my wife filmed me shooting instead of the target we were shooting. I'm kind of glad she did though because I was able to see some things I'm doing via my release hand that I wasn't aware of me doing until I saw it. This shoot had me playing with a Stan Element release and my tension screw kept moving for some reason...it eventually got to the point it was firing when I would come off the safety button; sort of like a reverse thumb trigger release. I had to adjust on it and mark its position to keep an eye on it.

Should have let down on the last target. When B.I.L. hollered out the "you can do it" I lost ever bit of concentration I had lol I'm glad that was just a fun round and not one for score hahah although we do act the same on scored rounds.

Crow, I thought you got rid of that Element? I've noticed the same thing on mine and thought it was just me—guess I need to mark mine as well.

I did have an Element a while back but it was the Large size and was too big for my hand. I sold it and found a used Medium size on Archerytalk and got it. I don't understand how the tension screw is moving...it's not loose at all but it does indeed move after being in the release pouch. When it's at its best feel to me, my mark is at 9:00...within a few targets it had worked its way to 7:00 or so when I noticed it getting real touchy and anything from 7:00-6:00 will fire upon releasing the button.
