Anyway, he took the specs to this table and is going to make 2 or 3 of them. I suggested that he improve the trough design slightly by making a angle on the bottom so that it can be fully drained. Mine is flat on the bottom. Its not that big of a deal since we'll probably only actually put ice in it a few times a year.

Hmm, I may be interested, let me know his location and price.
I may be interested in an outdoor one as well or instead....

The table is treated already and could be used outdoors.

I have to say that is a pretty neat table.

I was wondering about the draining...pretty cool table. That would make a good Crawfish/shrimp boil Table too if the bottom of the trough was removable. Just set a couple of empty ice chests below and push off your shells.

Nice table. My wife showed me the same thing on a website called "pinterest". But their table wasn't as nice. They just took an outdoor picnic table. removed the middle slat and replaced it with a gutter. It looked functional for not having to get up during dinner.

After typing this I went and found the picture.

keep on keepin' on

Lord I'm glad my wife isn't on this website.

Whats the problem if it IS pressure treated? It's not like he's putting his food directly on the thing.

Anything you treat with chemicals will eventually offgas as well as "sweat" micro elements of said chemicals. Pressure treated wood is no different. I am a fringe lunatic so all things I post should be treated as such. \:\)
