I see one problem with a required post count. We have members that have been here for years but only enjoy reading and don't post. It would seem more fair to have a date of joining that was before the tourney was set up. Just a thought.

Sounds like good areas to hold a tournament or two.

You will have to help me though, never fished in a tournament, much less helped organize one. \:D

If we can get a couple of tournaments in each region SE TN, NE TN, NW TN, Middle and West Tn, we could have a pretty good league going.

Two tournaments each division this summer followed a real big one at a centrally located lake in the Fall. What do you anglers think?

Nickel point on lake Barkley at the north end of LBL would be a good place to have one just a few seconds to the cut through to Kentucky lake.Get to fish which lake you like best.jmo

The winners will be determined by the team's total weight. The limit shall be 5 fish per team. If more than 5 fish are brought to the scales, the largest fish will be culled. Fish will be measured on a flat (golden rule) measuring device with mouth closed and by moving tail side to side. Largemouth Bass must be at least 15 inches long, smallmouth bass must be at least 15 inches long, and Kentucky bass must measure at least 12 inches. There will be a 1 pound penalty assessed for short fish and the short fish removed from the creel. . There will be an 8-ounce penalty deduction for each dead fish. The 8-ounce dead fish penalty will also apply to the big bass competition. Only one big bass prize awarded per team. All fish must be caught between the announced start and finish time in the permitted fishing locations by the partners of each boat. Fish caught by either partner in each boat will be combined for weigh-in. Individual boat totals will determine the order of finish. A maximum of two people may be in each boat. No individual who is not an official entrant in the tournament may be in any boat. Livewell check prior to the tournament is required. All boats must check in both before and after the tournament. For each minute competitors are late checking in, a 1 pound penalty will be deducted from the catch of that boat. Any boat more than fifteen (15) minutes late will be disqualified. NO EXCUSES. The Tournament Rules Committee will keep official time. Just a base line to go by and change what ever you don't like.jmo

Tophat will have to answer that question since it is his show in West TN.

I don't know about Kentucky Lake but Small Mouths are 18" minimum around here on Chickamauga.
