We were planning a road trip for a small group from our church. Most are middle age. I've read there is a 3/4 mile round trip walk involved, which doesn't bother us, but I've also read where the return walk involves a steep incline. This may be hard on the knees of some. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of the system? Thanks

There is a climb to get out but I think you can just take your time and stop as needed.

It's a decent climb, mention it to your tour guide and they will take that into consideration as you come out. I have family that gave tours there and they were told to always slow the tour down coming out for people that struggled to keep up with the group.

Thanks for the video link. I wonder if I'll have to lock the hubs on my wheelchair coming back out? \:D

Thanks. I'm more concern with the knees of a couple of the ladies. Most of it is paved from my understanding, so I'll be just fine.

It's also good to remember that there are no restrooms on the hike. :-) I had to jog back out with a 3 year old that really needed to pee.
