I have a couple questions if yall are out there...

Wife and I have been looking at houses on computer because we will need something bigger in near future...of course we found something we love(we think by pictures) but are in no position to buy anything, we currently have mortgage on house now and not willing to pay 2.

What are the steps to listing a house for sale?? Any cost to it if it does not sell?

Contractors?? We have thought about adding on to the house we are in now...What is the best way to get an estimate on what it would cost for what we see possible to do?

We are not sure if it would be easier to sell and move or add on to what we have..

Any help is appreciated

Im not a realtor but have sold a few. You can pick a realtor to list your house with or sale by owner. There is no cost if it does not sell. I was in the same position as you 2 years ago and what we did was make an offer on the house we wanted with the contingency that we had to sell our house first. They accepted our offer and listed our house and it sold before the house we wanted got any better offers. God works well. Good luck with whatever u do.

no charge if it doesnt sell first off. second, i buy and sell land a bit, prices are still low but seem to be rebounding. i would stay out of maury and williamson hand on the west side of marshall. it will save u a ton on land prices

interest rates are near historic lows. buyers market now. you will probably take it on the chin when you sell, but if u buy cheap it is a wash
