Someone was near Gibson County Lake while we were fishing yesterday.

I haven't had to leave the backyard yet either. Shot two a couple days ago and another one this morning. They are all over early in the morning. I'd like to take the shotgun out to the WMA at least once.

Whew... Hunted Saturday evening and Sunday morning out in the woods. Brutally hot, muggy and terrible amount of bugs. -saw 1 freakin' squirrel. Think Ill go back to the backyard hunting.

well i was setting on my front porch before daylight and never seen a thing then when i came in they was all over the place. but didn't get any today but tomorrow i might have a better chance.

i love 22's and still believe that in the right hands they are the weapon that will get you a limit more times than not. i have a model 60 that i will sell u for 50 bucks. rough, but accurate and functional

I switch back and forth a lot between a .22 and a shotgun during the Spring season and early Fall. Really just depends on what kind of mood I'm in and how thick the area I'm hunting is. I've killed more with a .22, but I've also hunted more with it. I like not having to wear ear plugs, and prefer the clean kills, but it can get tough out there with a .22, too.

went today and saw 3 but didn't have a good clear shot. Then heard a few barking and wheezing at something tried to move in but that must heard me and went quite.

yeah it is some tough hunting in the spring. i like fall when all with all the leaves is off the tree's. but hey it's something to do before deer season opens.
