I'll have to set my DVR to record that.

I was disappointed. I was hoping a program with the reputation of "Nature" would produce a more accurate depiction of the species and its interactions with Man. Yet throughout, the program was plagued with biological inaccuracies.

Pretty sad when many hunting groups--who are seen by environmentalists as the "enemies" of deer--could have easily produced a far more biologically accurate description of deer, deer behavior, and the species interaction with Man.

For what it was, I thought it was fine. I would rather watch that than a hunting show, that's for sure.

Agree, it reminded me of something more directed at the lay person who has little to no knowledge of deer and how they interact in the wild, whether it be with each other, humans, other animals, etc.

That, and you still got to see some big bucks.... standing in front yards... with dogs, people and camera crews standing 10 yards away.

One thing that occurred to me when they did the experiment with the coyote silhouettes is why people go to the trouble of using deer decoys that are all mocked up like a deer with brown and white patches or even 3D? Seems like anything beyond a silhouette is overkill.
