Have any of you guys done this? How long are you unable to use your bed? How much did you pay? Are you satisfied with it?

I have had both, and I prefer lineX. Here is why. The rhino lining will hold items in place better, and protects well, but it cuts easily. It is soft when finished. The Linex will not hold items in place as well, but it does not cut, scratche, ding or anything. I don't ride around with the tailgate down, so holding times in place is not a if deal to me, but I do haul all kinds of things. I have had the Linex in my current truck for 12 years now and have had zero problems.

Both of them will quieter your truck and add value.

I was only without my truck for the one day when they were putting the liner in....I don't remember any waiting time before use, but there might be a couple of days before you can do any heavy hauling.

BTW, when I had rhino liner, the clear coating on it flaked terribly. It looked like my bed had dandruff for awhile.

I did Herclu[sp] liner myself on 2 different vehicles and loved the outcome, just over $100.00 for a 1 gallon container, all rust must be removed, use the entire container because its impossible to reseal the container, I will use the same again the next time I want to use that type product

I priced some Jeep tubs a decade ago and I think it was $600-700.
A truck bed should be cheaper I would think because of not taking out and putting back seats etc....

Truck bed will run you around $500-$600

Have to give it a day or two for good cure time.... Line-X will hold up better.

Just had my brand new z71 Linex, get the line x extra!!! It cost a little more than regular line x but is WELL worth it! You won't be able to use your bed roughly for a day or 2 best I can remember. I know over 15 people with line x and they beat the snot out of their bed... No problems at all! I know a handful of people with rhino, several of them were forced to have it removed because of failure. They went to line x and couldn't be happier! Definitely choose wisely and go with the line x extra!
